The Why
Back in 2011 we made the decision to leave the bustling city life in Auckland behind and embark on a new adventure.
When we first saw this property it was bare land covered in gorse but we saw potential and embraced the challenge to build it what it is today.
We fell in love with the breathtaking views that stretch down the valley. A significant portion of Serenity Retreat is protected by a covenant, ensuring that the regenerating native forest remains a sanctuary for future generations.
With a love for animals we have created a home for many including, dogs, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, pigs, horses and a donkey. Horses are a passion and we now have the facility to bring your own horse to stay; ride the farm loop, use the arena or take your horse to one of the many local beaches.
